So it’s been a while again since I last posted something. I went back for christmas, spent an awesome time at home. There was one flaw though, I failed a course, and bc of this I have to come back from Berlin at the end of February. And that is something that I actually already look forward to.
I amgoing to Copenhagen next week which is gonna be awesome I hope. There is a project we got involved in, called the Central European Startup Awards, we go there to talk about it with the idea holders.
Yesterday I lost my wallet. I went shopping at work, came back, the went home and after getting off the U-bahn I realized it was gone. I was really upset, I was in a bad mood anyway, and there is this as well. Hell. Yesterday was probably the worst day I spent in Berlin. In the morning I met our bitch landlord who said we are heating too much, so she’s gonna withdraw 100 EUR from the deposit. Fuck that. Then I had nothing to do, fucked around all day, then this wallet thing. I was also meeting after work, this way she had to pay for everything… After that I went home, just to find out that the only lamp is gone form my room…. Son of a.. But hey, anotha day anotha dolla, I woke up again this morning. I was planning how to get all the neccessary documents I lost, when I got an email telling me that someone FOUND MY WALLET! I guess there are good people after all. As I am writing this I already de-blocked my bankcard, and actually have everything I had yesterday morning. :)
Apart from some of these stories, life is pretty boring here. Work-work-work out- some party at the weekend than again work work. Looking forward to go back…
Been a long time. To sum up what happened since the last post is not particularly hard though. I started training regularly every day basically, and tried to quit everything which is not healthy (except for drinking at weekends :)). Work is the same. My flat is not.
I was finally able to get my own place for more than a month. I am living together with a hungarian guy named Marci :) The place is great, aside from the hustle of getting it. First I though I was pretty lucky getting the first flat we visited, but then there were problems with the money, german mentality and so on. Finally yesterday we were able to move in for real.
And that day I also called in sick. I was sick a little bit but really I just wanted some time off. Here you can call in sick for 2 days just like that, and it counts separately from your holiday days. In these 2 days I was exploring the city like I should do it always. Museums, hanging out, exploring the city, great times. On the other hand, I skipped gym and smoked some.
Anyway, brighter days are to come! Yeaaaaaaaaaaay! :)
Oh before I forget! I spent an awesome weekend in BP. Friday night after arrival, I met up with my friends, we went for drinks, then to a real good party in Toldi. Met up with awesome people. Then saturday my mom’s namesday and at night drinking with Rebeka and Enikő. We wanted to go home, and Enikő did, but me and Rebeka went to this awesome place called Piaf, which is a bar for after the parties. The place is pure awesome, with live piano music, the owner singing Edit Piaf chansons and friendly people. Also LL Junior the roma rapper was there. We were joking around with him, but the suddenly he approached Rebeka, and hit on her. From then on, the night was just simply pure funny. We got free drinks and at 8 AM decided to leave the place and go for some gyros. We went into some shop before, got free stuff, and LL opened up a gyros place just for us. We could eat for free, smoke inside, I rreally felt like a gangster :D I also beatboxed, while LL was sweet talking my friend and rapping at the same time pretty much :D Arrived home at 11 AM after a hilarious night…
Incredible things happened! I went to this random goulash houseparty yesterday to the hungarian girl I met on the U-bahn on the first day basically and guess who was there!
Sooo perfect time for writing a blogpost. In the car, around Leipzig, 160 km/h. On my way “home” from Frankfurt, where I visited Nhim for the weekend. The idea was that bc I dont have a flat I would just go with the Mitfahrergelegenheit to FFM to visit Nhim, this way I wont be in the way of Anna, my lifesaver (who I would to thank again here for the opportunity to stay in her flat).
ok so fucked up story begins, i have to move out from my appartment on the 15th of october but one of my flatmates is away so her room is empty till the 20th. so normally i asked her whether it would be a problem for her if i stayed in her room till she comes back, she agreed. but in the meantime my psycho german flatmate came home from budapest and even though I offered to pay 50 euros for my stay, he refused and said that i have to move out cuz “we dont really connect”. funny to hear this from a person who actually got upset cuz I had someone over for 2 nights and said things like you shouldnt maximize your stay by inviting people over, and actually ordered me to turn off the heating althought its fucking cold outside. son of a bitch cocksucker motherfucker. i dunno whats gonna happen tomorrow…
Sooooo. Another week passed by. It is hard to capture time, and realize that I’m not home now. And all the things which come with living in a different country strike me all at once. Vicky was here for the last weekend, we spent 3 beautiful days together. But the farewell came and than one week of work. During the week I dont feel the need for company or any specific program, bc I am really tired, and still have some stuff to do. So my programs are mainly getting a haircut, buying an umbrella etc etc.
I wanted to go out on friday, I really plant it, asked all the people I know here to go out with me, but at the end it failed, I didn’t go out, none of them were available/willing to party. So the vodka I bought was just lonely in the fridge, unused. I felt miserable. One thing that I didnt go out, other thing is, that my flatmate, the german one (who when vicky came here, was pretty mad at me not asking if she could come - “this is not a fucking hotel”- he said) had a pretty mad party. He invited a lot of friends, they probably took something, cuz all night they were playing hard techno and they continued to party till Saturday night! No stop no sleep - this meant no sleep for us either, bc of the loud music. So I woke up pretty tired&depressed on Saturday. After a skype with Jun, my erasmus friend, I felt better, he is also doing internship, but in Shanghai so we share some of the Intern thoughts.
I had to visit a flat at 2 pm, I was thinking about canceling it, but what the hell I thought I went with my bike, it was sunny and good weather outside.
Then comes the part which I adore about this city. I went to visit the flat, and there was another guy visiting the same flat named Martin, who basically became my first friend in the city. We went out for a beer after the visit (oktoberfest style on alexander platz) then wetn out to the club Arena at night. So it was pretty good. The amazing part is that just after complaining that I don’t have friends, bammm on the same day I got one. Pictures in the next post.
Yeayyyyy!
